THE POOL IS A CONCRETE SURFACED ‘L’ SHAPED 50M X 20M OLYMPIC POOL WITH A DEEP DIVING BOWL AT THE END.  THE PROJECT TOOK 5 DAYS TO COMPLETE, USING JOHN‘S TEAM OF NINE PROFESSIONAL PAINTERS.

Key steps included:

Step 1: Pump out the pool

Step 2: Blast the surface with ultra-high pressure water to remove the old paint

Step 3: Repair any imperfections where required with cement render

Step 4: Paint with Luxapool’s Epoxy Primer Sealer

Step 5: Finish with 3 coats of Luxapool’s Epoxy 2-pack

Step 6: The Waverley College Olympic Pool also required the school crest painted onto the centre of the 50m pool.

The Waverley College concrete pool was prepared, primed and then painted with Luxapool’s Pacific Blue epoxy coating 2-pack.

The Waverley College Olympic pool required the school’s crest to be applied in the centre of the pool.

The Waverley College school crest featured a 6m x 6m transfer to be made up. John Townsend’s team then painted the corporate logo colours on and removed the template to reveal the College crest.

The Waverley College Olympic pool filled with water. The pool is a wonderful facility for the College students.
